Evanston and the North Shore are full of older homes – Victorians, pre-war two-flats and vintage co-ops – with wall-to-wall carpet on narrow stairs and a lot of fine, older rugs. Those need a gentler hand than a new build: careful access, a colorfast test before any cleaning, and low-moisture methods on delicate fibers. Here is how we work in this area.
Hot water extraction for stairs, hallways and wall-to-wall in older homes, with air movers when fall damp slows drying.
Sofas, sectionals and chairs, matched to the fabric code before we start.
Low-moisture care that draws allergens and everyday staining out of the bed's top layers.

We travel to Evanston and nearby — no drop-off needed.

Our team answers around the clock for consultations and bookings.
Yes. Many North Shore co-ops and vintage buildings have tight stairwells and small elevators, so we bring portable equipment and coordinate access with building management or the doorman in advance. Tell us the building when you book and we will plan around it.
No - and that is on purpose. Delicate, antique and natural-fiber rugs are safest cleaned at our facility, where they can be dusted, immersion-washed, extracted and dried under controlled conditions. We pick up and deliver for free, so the rug never has to be surface-scrubbed on your floor.
